Bunk Bed Buddies

When arriving to Vic, Spain Sunday evening we were unsure of our living space because it is such a tiny town. The only place that could accommodate my 4 roomies and I was a Hostel...a Hostel, excuse me what? We all were very iffy and scared about the uncertainty of what it was going to be like. Walking through the doors we immediately smelt some unpleasing smells throughout the entire building, of course we tried to stay positive and make a joke out of it because we are ABROAD in Spain! Our next task was to find our room; Ansley, Margaux and I were put in a room that holds three people. Strolling into the room it wasn't much better than the lobby...still smelled haha. The room is made up of white tile, a long sky blue desk and shelves that goes from wall to wall, corked areas for pictures and ocean blue bunk beds. That night wasn't much better the room just didn't feel homie to us.

But here we are Thursday and we couldn't adore our room more. We have made several trips to the market adding all the groceries to the shelves. To make our experience the best it can be, we went a little overboard and bought two rugs, a scentsy (that smells like daisies) and little round lights that we strung across our window. Our room has "major vibes" now according to Margaux and we love spending time here. Last night we made dinner in our room...it was an adventure to say the least. This consisted of whipping up some guacamole on my bed, making wraps on the desk and using brown paper bags as plates. We ended the night gathered around my bed to watch The Bachelor on Molly's computer. I would say our Hostel has turned into the best home and we are officially "Bunk Bed Buddies" for the next month!
