Hola España, ya te amo! Ansley, Margaux, and I conquered a 8 hour flight from DFW to London, then a 2 hour flight from London to Barcelona. We checked into the Renaissance, dropped our bags and took off to adventure the city streets of Barcelona, Spain!
We hiked 45 minutes uphill to see the beautiful view that Park Güell offers and it was breath taking. Park Güell is a public park composed of gardens and architectonic elements located on Carmel Hill. We also loved it, because it was where a scene in Cheetah Girls 2 was filmed!
We ended our day SEASIDE, wow! All of us were craving seafood so we found a cute little restaurant called La Founda Del Port Olimpic. This place was full of energy...people were dancing, singing and playing instruments it was such a fun experience. Our waiter gave us a complimentary dessert, but Ansley and Margaux are both gluten/dairy free so of course I ate it all! Day one was amazing, I can't wait to see what the next month has in store!
